2023 Urbandale 4th of July Commemorative Buttons

This fundraiser is an Urbandale tradition. Did you know money raised from the sale of these commemorative buttons is what helps fund the fireworks display? Urbandale prides itself as one of the best fireworks shows in the metro and we cannot do it without the support of the community. Purchasing buttons not only helps fund the fireworks but it also earns you an opportunity to win great prizes. A new button is designed each year to reflect that year’s theme. All buttons are individually numbered and numbers will draw for a chance to win.

Urbandale has over 40 years of commemorative buttons. Take a step back in the history books to see them all here!

You can buy the buttons at Fareway, Medicap Pharmacy, Corner Cafe, Lions Bingo Tent, and at the parade. You can also purchase a button and have it mailed to your house for an additional cost to cover shipping costs.

The committee will be selling buttons at the Urbandale Hy-Vee on June 17 & 18 from 11am-2pm and June 24 & 25 from 11am-2pm.

Every year local businesses come together to provide an extra incentive to buy a button: prizes! Each button comes with its own individual number that will be used as part of a raffle drawing to win one of the many great prizes outlined below. Not only does your purchase help out the 4th of July Committee by allowing us to continue bringing you an amazing celebration annually, it also helps local business by bringing you places you may not have been before.
