2026 Urbandale 4th of July Commemorative Buttons

Urbandale’s 4th of July celebration features one of the best fireworks shows in the metro—and button sales, a long-standing community fundraiser, help support the fireworks display. Each year, a new commemorative button reflecting that year’s theme is designed and sold throughout the community. Each button is individually numbered, and winning numbers are drawn at the end of the celebration. If your number is drawn, you’ll win one of many prizes donated by local businesses, which can be claimed from the sponsoring business.

You can buy the buttons at the Urbandale Hy-Vee Courtesy Counter, Hungry Boyz, and Medicap Pharmacy starting June 3 . You can also purchase a button and have it mailed to your house for an additional cost to cover shipping costs.

Buttons will also be for sale at the following locations and dates:

• Hy-Vee every Saturday and Sunday in June from 10am-2pm
• Fareway
  • June 19 from 4-8pm
  • June 20 from 10am-6pm
  • June 26 from 4-8pm
  • June 27 from 10am-6pm
• Urbandale Historical Society Ice Cream Social – June 28 from 1-4pm
• Lions Club Bingo Tent during the celebration (July 2-4)
• The corner of  72nd St and Aurora Ave before and during the parade on July 4
