Where is the police command post, lost and found, and place to report a lost child?
The Police Command Post is located inside Lions Park Shelter House. Please visit during the celebration for lost and found or information regarding a lost child. For after hours requests, please contact the non-emergency number at 515-222-3321.
What time is the parade?
The parade starts at 10:00 AM.
What day is the parade on?
The parade is on July 4th.
What is the parade route?
Parade starts by the old City Hall. Goes North on 70th to Aurora. Continues West on Aurora to 82nd.
What time are the fireworks?
The fireworks are shot off at 10:00 PM.
What day are the fireworks?
The fireworks are on the 4th of July.
Where are the fireworks shot from?
The fireworks are shot from the West side of Walker Johnston park.
Can you see the fireworks from Lions Park?
The fireworks are not viewable from Lions Park.

How much are tickets for the carnival?
Advanced ride tickets will be available for purchase beginning June 17.
Advanced ride tickets can be purchased through July 1st and are available at Urbandale Hy-Vee and Medicap Pharmacy (Urbandale). Advanced ride ticket pricing is 25 tickets for $20.00. Starting July 2nd you can purchase ride tickets at the carnival at the regular price of $1.00/ea.
3 tickets for kids rides, 4 tickets for regular rides, 5 tickets for super rides
Where can I purchase ride tickets for the carnival?
Advanced ride tickets can be purchased through July 1st and are available at Urbandale Hy-Vee Medicap Pharmacy (Urbandale).
