Celebrate the 4th of July with Us – and Showcase Your Business!

Each year, Urbandale shines as the metro’s go-to destination for 4th of July festivities. With a lively parade, games, booths, food stands, rides, dances, and more—all centered around Lions Park—it’s a celebration that draws families from across the area.

To support our spectacular fireworks display and community activities, we sell collectible 4th of July buttons. This year, we’re inviting local businesses to take part by sponsoring prizes for our button drawing program.

Here’s how you can help:
We’re seeking donations of gift certificates or physical prizes (minimum value of $25 is appreciated) that winners can redeem at your business. While we also accept cash donations, item-based prizes help drive foot traffic to your location—and provide extra exposure.

As a thank you, your business will be recognized on our official website.

How it works:
Each button is uniquely numbered. When a winning number is drawn, the holder wins one of the donated prizes. We’ll give winners clear instructions to visit your business and claim their prize starting July 6, 2026.
